Malisia grew up in small town outside of Chico, California. Her mother was a farmer’s daughter who inherited flood zone property and an old, run down ranch house. The large family grew crops of wheat and barley. The farm was also home to several wild cats as well as chickens, horses and cows that frequently escaped their rickety pens. On the farm there were always chores to be done. Everyone had to pitch in. Being the second of five children, for several years Malisia shared a bedroom with three of her siblings. She tells stories of two bunk beds stacked next to each other - talk about never having any privacy! Malisia’s exotic looks can be attributed to both her parents being of American Indian heritage. They separated and then divorced when she was in the first grade, and she barely knows her father. In the fourth grade Malisia’s family relocated to Australia she lived there for five years. Malisia’s youngest brother and sister still live in Melbourne, and she still keeps in touch with her best friend from elementary school. Malisia wanted to be a model and she started competing in beauty pageants at fifteen years old, while still in high school. She attended Princeton High School and graduated at age sixteen out of a class of just nine students. It was then that she entered her first bikini contest, and won. One of the many prizes that day was a free photo shoot. Modeling was what she was dreaming of and this opened the door for her. Hoping for her big break, Malisia modeled for local clothing stores, alcohol distributors and even the fast food restaurant where she worked by day. She continued to dream of the day when she would hit it big. During those fast-paced days of modeling jobs and while attending her first year of college, Malisia was devastated when her mother was involved in a fatal car accident. She decided to take five years off from school, but later returned to receive her Associates Degree in Computerized Business Management from Heald College in Santa Rosa, California- all the while modeling professionally part time. Malisia is as persistent as a woman gets; she was denied fourteen times for Playboy’s Centerfold! She was eventually chosen as a Newsstand Specials Model (now known as Special Editions) and was published in the “College Girls” issue. She was later selected as one of the Readers Choice Top 20 Models and was consistently featured in the Special Editions publications. Malisia has been featured thirteen times in Playboy publications, more times than the average Centerfold. Through persistence, patience, and a strong belief in herself, Malisia has everything she ever dreamed of and more. Her modeling career has given her opportunities to travel the globe, see the world and experience many different cultures such as: London, Melbourne, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Malisia’s goal is to continue her modeling career and most of all is committed to living each and every day to the fullest. There are no boundaries for this beauty!
